The aerial system, explained plainly.
A pilot-supervised aerial platform delivers cleaning solution and rinse water to elevated surfaces — roofs, upper façades, glass, signage — without scaffolding, lifts or rope access. It works alongside a ground crew, not instead of one.
WashGrid is not a drone company. The aerial system is one delivery method inside a broader property-care operation — the right tool for elevated surfaces, used when the assessment says it's the right tool. Certified remote pilots supervise every aerial job, with a trained crew on site and safety zones established before anything flies.
What the aerial system changes is access. Work that used to require scaffolding rental, lift mobilization or rope crews — with the cost, scheduling and people-at-height that implies — gets done from above. Entrances stay open. Landscaping isn't crushed by outriggers. And elevated work is done with fewer people at height, because the method allows it.
What it doesn't change is the discipline. Method is still chosen per surface: soft wash for stucco, pure water for glass, tile-specific treatment for tile. Site authorization is required before any imagery is captured, audio is disabled by default, and media is stored with time-limited access.
- Pilot-supervised — certified remote pilots on every aerial job, crew on site.
- Access without mobilization — no scaffolding, lifts or rope access for most elevated work.
- Fewer people at height — elevated surfaces worked from the ground and the air.
- Privacy-aware imaging — site authorization first, audio off by default, time-limited media access.
Every job closes with
Before-and-after evidence by asset, a written service report, and the next service date on your maintenance calendar. The documentation is the deliverable.
Straight answers.
Is a person controlling the aircraft?
Every aerial job runs under the supervision of a certified remote pilot with a crew on site. We describe the system as pilot-supervised because that is what it is — we don't market 'fully autonomous' operations.
What about photos and video of my property?
Capture requires site authorization first. Audio is disabled by default, neighbouring private areas are avoided wherever possible, retention is defined by job and contract, and nothing is published without written client approval.
Is it safe?
We won't answer that with a slogan. What we can show you: the site-control procedure, the safety zones established before work, the pilot supervision on every job, and the incident workflow if anything ever goes wrong. Safety is described here by what we do, not by statistics we can't produce a file for.
